Tested with ASUS P525

Postby micha » Thu Dec 14, 2006 11:02 am

I tested BlueMusic with ASUS P525. Everything is ok. I installed the trial version of BlueMusic. After start received the message about trial and 30 sec, but after this message works BlueMusic without any time limit :).

Regarding "How to start". With P525 I don't need to do anything to activate BlueMusic. After BT activation works BM without any trouble.

By the way, voice level regulation is not possible!

What about HTC Hermes? Did you test BlueMusic with this device? I'm not able to achieve any positive result :(

Great news. Looks like the ASUS P525 works with BLueMusic similar to the way the HTC Universal does.

For the HTC Hermes, download the 1.0.400 version, and while installing, when asked to install the HTC Tytn Fix press YES then OK to reboot.

This should do the trick.

Nothing helps with HTC Hermes (XDA Trion)

Postby micha » Fri Dec 15, 2006 1:51 am

Hi Radu,

Thank a lot for your suggestion above. But it changed NOTHING. During my first installation of BlueMusic 1.0.400 I did everything as you described. At present Blue Music doesn't work with my HTC Hermes + Nokia HS-4W, but works excellent with my ASUS P525 + same Nokia HS-4W.

You wrote above that BlueMusic was tested with HTC Hermes. Please advice EXACTLY with which FIRMWARE. I believe that the firmware of HTC, QTEK, O2, Vodafone etc. are a little bit different.

For excample, if I activate a bluetooth headset in my ASUS P525 - I see the headset icon on the TODAY display above. If I activate the same thing (BT-headset) in my O2 XDA Trion (HTC Hermes) I can see the BT-headset icon only in the phone application window. I believe that the BT-headset will be active ONLY WITH PHONE APPLICATION? Or will be active only in the case if the phone application is active. Is it right? Otherwise it is impossible to activate a VOICE DEALER through BT-headset by HTC Hermes (XDA Trion). I asked another HTC Hermes users and they said that the HTC Hermes voice dealer doesn't work with BT-headset. I also asked O2 support - no answer by now. :(

Try to help me please. I would like to use my PDA + BT-headset + BlueMusic with Skype, but ...

Thanks in advance!

Postby brandonlee11 » Sat Dec 16, 2006 9:21 am

I was wondering if anyone has gotten BlueMusic to work on the Treo 700w? I have a Plantronics 655 and Motorola H700 headsets with no luck yet. Thanks.

I recently got HTC P3600 and downloaded the trial version of bluemusic but it did not work. Is my device compatible with the software? If yes, should the TyTn modification be applied or not? please tell me the exact steps to get it work. Thanks

@brandonlee11 please try to contact support@teksoftco.com and the developers will try to find out a solution. This of course if you have a few spare time to test some builds on your pocket pc.

@DrAKH Your device is farely new and quite similar to the hermes (tytn). So yes we encourage you to download v 1.0.400 and test both with tytn fix and without. If this doesn't work well for you please also try to contact support@teksoftco.com .

Cheers,

Bluemusic on Qtek 9600

Postby vampirex » Sun Jan 28, 2007 3:28 am

Hi All,
I just tested Bluemusic (V1.0.3) on my SFR 1605 (same as Vodaphone 1605 which is a Qtek9600/Hermes) with a Samsung WEP185 headset (sold as BT V2, but only the handsfree profile works, the headset stays greyed). The software seems working but unfortunately I don't have a long music to test (I want to use BM to have Tomtom sounds in my headset), so 30s is too short to have a real test, but one thing is sure: I have to push the headset button to send a vocal command, to get the sound in the headset, I am not sure it is a normal way of working. I don't know if it is only when starting or with each new sound (?)
Can someone help me, (I really have to find a solution ) ?
Thank you very much.

Bluemusic on Qtek 9600 (an other test)

Postby vampirex » Sun Jan 28, 2007 4:16 am

Hi All,
I tried to test version 1.0.400, but nothing works no sound at all in the headset. After trying to start 3 rings file, the system was going down with the reason: memory saturated.
I reinstalled version 1.0.400 without the TyTN patch and the system no longer went down, but nothing worked: no sound at all in the headset.
I reinstalled the version 1.0.300 and nothing worked at all.
Theses tests show that the operation seems to be aleatory.
Any idea ?

Thanks for the detailed test!
Your procedure was correct. See :
http://www.teksoftco.com/index.php?sect ... b=info#Use
What you mentioned is descriebed in step 5.
I need to tell you that from what I've seen there are devices that don't need this step (HTC Universal). On those simply pressing Start is enough.

But for your case HTC Tytn/Hermes, you need to press the headset's button for a couple of seconds, exactly as descriebed on the teksoft site.
I don't know if it is only when starting or with each new sound

This needs to be done only once: like after a power up, after first pairing the BT headset or so. Then you can use the Start and the Stop buttons.

Ok now this doesn't sound too good.
Indeed for your HTC Tytn the 1.0.400 is the correct version, and you MUST install the HTC Tytn Fix.
By any chance, is it possible to perform a hardreset and to do a clean installation? If not drop a mail to support[A.T]teksoftco[DO.T]com and they will help with the current status.
Also I would like to know more about this "memory saturated" thing. Is this an error message? Could you give more details, maybe some snapshots?

Hi,
Thank for trying to help me.
The memory problem came in two step:
-First I got message with no spécial identifier nor eyes catcher, just in a rectangular window (it is a French system) "Mémoire saturée, veuillez arrêter des applications" followed by list of 3 applications. I stopped media player and continue to test.
-Second I got the same kind of message but with no list and without any action enabled. The device seems to be frozen and I had to soft reset to restart.
BR
Daniel.

Do you have lots of programs installed? Would it be possible to perform a Hard reset (Factory reset)? From that point we could take it step by step.

Now you should install the BlueMusic 1.0.400, pressing YES to install the HTC Tytn.
