Hi again, sorry for delay.
I only post to remind myself to psot here the .rar with the source code.
Also I want to express an idea in order to knwo when de wifi device is on and there is a connection:
Is veri simple, just declare a timer and leave it enabled until your PocketPC IP is diferent from "127.0.0.1".
I hope to come back soon with the code.

Ok, i just got it!
Here i post the source code of the DLLs and an executable project which test the libraries which are controling de wifi device.
There are 2 separated solutions:
-WIFIControl: C++ DLL that has your WirelesDevices.h/.cpp
-DeviceControl: Has 2 projects:
-- C# DLL DeviceControl which encapsulates WIFIControl.dll
-- C# SmartDevice form TestWIFIController which test all it.
There is only one problem:
When the PocketPC is started for first time and wifi is off, the program runs but don't do nothing. Also the function GetState() from C++ WIFIControl.dll returns strange values.
Is there any solution for that?
Get the code from:
http://www.kas.unexpected.es/Software/C ... Device.rar
PD: Hope my code helps other programmers.

What about Beam?
Is it also possible to control the IR in a similar way? i.e. mimic the effect of the control panel 'receive all incoming beams' box?
I have done a couple of registry dumps, and the only affected value in the HKLM hive seems to be
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Obex\IsEnabled
But if I change this programmaticaly, it doesnt seem to work. Also, I'm worried that this value will also affect the bluetooth (if it were to work).
Thanks,
Freg

Well, before answering your question i'd say that the software i'm developing must run on all Windows Mobile 5.0 devices.
Now, if you're going to give to me a WORKING solution, i would be very pleased with you, but i will also need a way on how to know the WLAN device name.
Next monday 2 i will post again with the WLAN name, if i found it.
