  • Introduction
    Bluemusic 3 is the latest release of the successful Teksoft multimedia application for Pocket PC and Smartphone, that allows easy access to routing the audio streams from your mobile device to your Bluetooth headsets. Use your Bluetooth Headset to listen to music, podcasts, ebooks or games. For your car, you can use BlueMusic to redirect GPS voice to the car's bluetooth system.

    Compatibility
    A) Headset compatibility
    BlueMusic 3 is compatible with bluetooth headsets of all kind: the mono phone headsets used with BlueMusic 2, and the A2DP Headsets supported with this new version!
    B) Windows Mobile Compatibility
    You can install BlueMusic on a Windows Mobile Device (Pocket PC or Smartphone), running Windows Mobile 5.0 and above. The Bluetooth Stack be the Microsoft Bluetooth Stack.

    Installing BlueAudio
    To install the software on your mobile device, you need to download the CAB files from BlueAudio download page. If the CAB file is compressed with ZIP and the download comes as a ZIP file, you will need to extract the ZIP content to your Desktop, using the trial version of Winzip. Having the software CAB file, follow the next steps:
    1.Open ActiveSync on your desktop
    2.Click Explore.
    3.Copy the file to your device. You can do this by dragging and dropping the file from the folder on your desktop to the My Documents folder for your device. On the device, open File Explorer:
    4.Tap Start > Programs > File Explorer.
    5.Open the folder that you copied the .CAB file into.
    6.Tap the .CAB file or select the CAB file using the arrows and press the action button.
    7.The application will install on your device.

    Why can't I see my headset in BlueMusic?
    You need to pair your headset first, using the Add Device option.

    What pin code do I need to use to pair my headset?
    Usually the Pin code is 0000. To be certain, consult your headset's manual.

    I have two headsets, one appears as disconnected. Why?
    You can only use one headset at a time. Turn off the headset you don't need.

    What range does BlueMusic work on?
    The maximum range is given by your hardware. Usually it works within a 10meter radius.

    Settings panel
    BlueMusic 3 comes as a modular software.
    For the end user the control interface comes as a 9x9 grid interface that can be controlled using one finger, by pressing the buttons or by sliding on the screen horizontally for changing pages. The interface shows several buttons, organized in groups or top-level cathegories.
    Bluetooth contains 3 subitems, bluetooth on, bluetooth off and add device. These can be used to turn on and off your bluetooth radio hardware and to configure a new headset.
    Settings a large group containing several configuration options.
    Redirect Ringtone, can be used to send your phone's audio ringtone to the headset, instead of the headset default tone.
    After call resume, a powerful option, to resume the audio over bluetooth after a phone call
    Map right key, can be used to map the right software key in the today screen, to BlueMusic.
    Auto Speakerphone, can be used to auto-enable the speakerphone when a phone call is connected.
    Auto Answer, automatically connects an incoming call.
    Auto Reject, disconnects an incoming call automatically.
    Auto SMS, can be used only when Auto Reject is enabled, and send a predefined SMS to the caller (Eg. I'm in a meeting).
    Auto Bluetooth, turns Bluetooth on automatically every time the BlueMusic is started, and improves the bluetooth connectivity for the headsets.
    Play&Execute, will start a predefined program every time you enable audio over bluetooth (Eg. your favorite music player).
    Today Plugin, enables or disables the BlueMusic today plugin on Pocket PC devices.
    UI Gfx, can be used to toggle between animated User interface and non animated.
    Headset Action, for some headsets, allows you to press the Voice Command button on the headset to remotely execute a program on the Mobile Device. Useful as a remote control.
    Verbose Mode, has a dual functionality, on one hand it activates comments for some options in the BlueMusic user interface, on the other it enables audio notifications for various events like: call connected, audio restored, etc.
    Default settings, restores all BlueMusic settings to installation time.
    Help is a group with 3 options Help, this manual, About, provides details on BlueMusic, and Registration for unlocking your BlueMusic copy.
    After a headset is configured, it will appear as a separate group with a distinctive icon.
    A headset can be in connected mode (bluetooth link to mobile device is on) or disconnected (when the headset is off or out of range).
    If a headset is connected, you can enter its group and use one of its services, Hands Free for low quality audio, and Wireless Stereo for high quality wireless stereo.
    If you have several headsets, only one headset can be used at a time. To use a different headset, you need to turn off the first headset. Using "Auto Bluetooth" option, you can try to command disconnected headsets as well (you will be able to enter their option groups) Eg. for out of range headsets, were the signal fluctuates.

    BlueAudio Registration
    The unregistered version will allow you to use all of its features, but after 3 minutes the sound will be rerouted back to the system speakers. To re-enable audio over bluetooth, you need to manually re-start it from the BlueMusic today plugin or from within the interface.
    This restriction is disabled once the program is registered.
    To Register BlueAudio, open BlueAudio click on Help and then select Registration:
    Carefully copy the serial number information from the Teksoft License Email that you've received after purchasing the software, and enter it into the appropriate fields in the registration window. Try to avoid typographical errors that might result in your registration code not being accepted by the program. After the serial number is entered, you can click OK. The program will display a registration confirmation.
