The customization reffers to a numbers of graphical layouts and software modules that are applied to reflect a required logo or branding on a given mobile device. For eg. the customization includes, but it is not limited to, Today Theme, Custom Network Settings, Skins for the standard applications, additional Artwork or Software that would support Custom Services or Products. (^- Up) Features and SmartInterface Components The architecture of this Software is Modular. The SmartInterface can be composed of a variable number of modules to better suit the customer's needs. The Package may contain several files, from a simple Today Theme to complex User Interface Applications. Teksoft offers custom development to bring flexible solutions on the market. The Standard package is composed of: (-) Today Theme, created to ilustrate the customer's logo (-) Skins for One or more standard applications (Phone, Media Player, Comm Manager, etc) (-) The SmartInterface Today plugin (-) Various Mods/Plugins for the Smartinterface itself (skinable graphical layout, various functionality plugins) Here are a few samples, based on the Vodafone logo/brand Today Theme: Phone/Dialer Skin: Comm Manager for HTC devices: SmartInterface as a Today Customization/User Interface: The SmartInterface is a sample of a custom User Interface that Teksoft can provide. The SmartInterface was designed to offer good operator publicity by strong colors, operator logo and operator oriented functions (phone,sms,mms,etc), but also to be useful to the user/user friendly: (-) It provides configurable shortcuts to the favorite applications or control pannel applets. (-) The user may choose among several Animations and he can have different artwork/graphic packs (-) The Config Pannel that can be accessed from the today plugin offers several options like turning the plugin on/off, changing the animation or Configuring the shortcuts in the Today plugin: In the last picture above, the user has selected four shortcuts/applets to be displayed in the today plugin. After closing the config pannel, here is the configuration in the today plugin (all the shortcuts have been included): The SmartInterface has been created to offer robust functionality at outstanding performance: the speed is simply amazing: While offering multimedia effects for the user's satisfaction, it's design uses a very small ammount of the today plugin (greatly appreciated by users), and the functionality is simply unbeatable. (^- Up) Hardware Requirements The best strategy to meet the hardware requirements is to identify the target device. The software must be tested/verified on the exact model the operator plans to use with the Teksoft Customization. This presentation is for QVGA HTC devices, with Windows Mobile 2005 or 2006. Teksoft offers various versions of this software that can be used with VGA or even Square Screen Devices! (^- Up) Installing the customization package As the design is modular, the software can be installed based on the required features.
